It's stated in the about page that one way to use this site is to ask/ answer questions. I just wanted to make it clear that readers can feel free to contribute responses to other entries (even ones that aren't as "obviously" asking for them.) And feel free to respond to entries that have already received responses; different perspectives are important.

what is the difference between habitual unhealthy eating/food patterns and eating disorders? is there one? i guess i'm just looking for a real cut-and-dry definition of "this is an eating disorder, this is not," though i am not sure that such a thing exists. -perdiendome

note: I want to make it clear, also, that we aren't here to diagnose what is or isn't an eating disorder. that's where doctors earn they keep, alright?
