I think I'd like to answer my own question (see entry entitled, "question"). I think it was a lazy attempt to get someone else to prod me along in the direction I was already headed. I ended up taking a brief test I found on the internet that was meant to gauge how healthy you are in your eating habits. It doesn't give any sort of diagnosis, just a message of either "you're probably healthy if that's really the way you're living" or "you MIGHT be unhealthy. you should probably talk to a professional who can assess the situation better." it gave me the latter message. i'm seeing "a professional" on tuesday, so i'll probably bring it up then...

i think i asked here because for some reason i have the feeling that i shouldn't bring up things with my therapist unless i know they're a problem. like it would be a bother, or bad etiquette, or some such nonsense. reminder to myself: you're paying the lady. her job is to listen. so speak.

i'm sorry this isn't anything incredibly (or even unincredibly) brilliant. it's just where i'm at right now.
